Andersen Corporation Receives the 2018 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award

Last month, Andersen Corporation and its subsidiaries were honored yet another year with the prestigious 2018 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award. ENERGY STAR reserves this distinction for companies that are continually leading the fight to reduce energy use by developing sustainable products that are ever more energy-efficient, and Andersen Corporation definitely fits the bill. This is Andersen’s fourth year to receive this award, and its ninth time being recognized by the ENERGY STAR program.
A Little About the ENERGY STAR® Program
The ENERGY STAR program was founded in 1992 by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency in an effort to educate consumers by providing straightforward, unbiased information about the environmental impact of the products they buy. The ENERGY STAR seal is one of the most recognized consumer symbols in the country, and thousands of businesses and organizations have used their partnership with the ENERGY STAR program to save U. S. consumers money and energy – to the tune of $450 billion and 3.5 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity since the program’s inception.
