When Andersen Windows launched the Renewal by Andersen® division, it introduced a better process to the window replacement industry – and a groundbreaking new material to make the window frames. This patented Fibrex® composite material is a better window framing material for several reasons.

Strength. Fibrex material combines wood fiber with the low maintenance of premium vinyl, resulting in remarkable strength. Due to this strength, Fibrex window frames can be manufactured with narrower lines and more glass area for better views and lighting.
Stability. As a composite material, Fibrex contracts and expands very little, even in extreme temperatures. For this reason, Fibrex material can be produced in dark exterior colors than vinyl can’t.
Colors. Fibrex never needs to be painted and comes in more than 47 color combinations to match any home’s style.
Warranty. The extra strength and durability of Fibrex material will not rot, warp, crack, peel or split which allows Renewal by Andersen to offer one of the best warranties in the window industry.
